Job Description

Work location: Various client sites throughout the UK (Central/North London)

Salary: Up to £40,000 plus overtime & expenses

Ability to obtain Security Clearance (Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years).

Littlefish is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Field Engineer located in Central/North London to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver first-rate onsite and remote support to our contract customers, resolving a wide range of technical issues across hardware, software, mobile, and print systems. From device builds to basic network/server troubleshooting, this role offers variety and the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies.

What are we looking for in the successful candidate?

  • Located in Central/North London to access our main client base.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support onsite and remotely.
  • Resolve issues related to desktop/laptop/printer hardware, Office 365, MS Exchange, Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, Apple OSX & iOS, and more.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical queries, in line with customer-specific SLAs.
  • Take ownership of technical projects such as service transitions, deployments, and system updates.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and collaborate with the Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Professional Services teams.
  • Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, while maintaining professionalism in all communications.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in a similar technical support role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, phone, and face-to-face communication.
  • Problem-Solver: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently and using your initiative to resolve situations.
  • Adaptable: Flexible to changing work environments and willing to work outside normal hours when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Comfortable traveling around the UK to customer sites.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms.
  • Professional, with a high level of customer-focused service delivery.
