Finance Analyst - FTC 12 months

Bluebird Care

Remote with occasional travel

Up to £50,000 p.a.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

Working alongside the Head of Finance, you will be a vital part of the finance function within our National Support Team (NST), with lots of exposure to senior stakeholders.

Your role will be varied and encompass day to day finance function roles and financial analysis together with driving process automation, efficiencies and improvements. The role will suit an ambitious part or fully qualified finance professional looking to make an impact and implement tangible improvements.

Responsibilities

  1. Supporting the Head of Finance across all areas of the day to day finance function, including actuals reporting, budgeting, forecasting, detailed transactions, and reporting to the UK Executive team and US private equity owners.
  2. Producing accurate and timely financial information so the NST can monitor the performance of the business towards strategic goals.
  3. Interpreting and presenting complex financial data to a range of stakeholders using a variety of technological aids to convey historical or projected outcomes as well as accurate business and market information.
  4. Assisting the Head of Finance in identifying and delivering process automation, efficiencies and improvements across the finance function and the wider business. The ability to understand and improve ways of working, including the use of technology and automation would be highly desirable.
  5. Supporting the Head of Finance in all areas of finance control and governance.

What we offer:

  • Salary of up to £50,000 p.a. & comprehensive benefits package.
  • Fixed Term - 12 months, 37.5 hours per week (08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch)
  • Remote with occasional travel to Head Office in Central London

Experience:

  • Relevant financial qualification/s: qualified or part-qualified (AAT / ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
  • Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders
  • Effective communication and organisation skills
  • Strong financial analysis
  • Team player with flexible approach
  • Experience of driving process improvements
