We are looking to appoint an individual on a full time, permanent basis to join us as a Finance Analyst in London.
You'll be responsible for assisting our Finance Manager and support in the delivery of our accounting and reporting functions. This is a pivotal role to the Finance team as well as the wider business therefore, the right individual will be someone with IFRS accounting experience that can support us with preparation of the statutory financial statements.
This role is a hybrid role with 3 days per week based from our London office.

What you'll do as a Finance Analyst:
- Take full ownership of Treasury responsibilities, ensuring all cashbooks are completed, bank accounts reconciled, and monthly Management Accounts delivered in a timely manner in XERO for multiple entities of the Group.
- Maintain the banking relationship for all banks.
- Active and key player in delivering month end activities for the group entities - intercompany reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, etc.
- Support in preparation and filing of statutory audited accounts for circa 37 UK legal entities in the Kingswood group.
- Delivering monthly, Interim and FY reporting cycles, in areas of the accounts that you will be assigned. Including, but not limited to, bank and credit card reconciliations, expenses processing, lease accounting, accruals, prepayments.
- Work with the Finance Manager's and Group Finance Director in ensuring business transactions conform to IFRS accounting standards and the balance sheet is reconciled and maintained to a high standard for the areas to which they are assigned.
- Supporting the interim and year end Group audit process.
- Help and support with activities related to the integration of acquired businesses into the Group.
- Supporting the wind-up of legal entities post integration.
- Supporting the Tax functions, when assigned tasks - including preparation of VAT returns.
- Completion of any ad-hoc projects that may be assigned.
What we're looking for:
- C1-2 years' experience, having worked in accounting roles.
- Working towards an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Stakeholder management. Have confidence to work with finance and business partners and support conversations to ensure optimal financial outcomes for Kingswood.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to explain accounting situations to business partners.
- Knowledge of financial reporting systems preferred and competent in Excel.
- Exemplary time management skills, balancing a multitude of deadlines and ongoing tasks.
- Exhibiting a Growth Mindset; having an inquisitive mind, desire to learn and take on stretch goals.
- XERO, Caseware (highly desirable).
