Job Description
Our client is a successful distribution company selling across 4 continents that are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of accounting and supporting the smooth operation of financial functions within the company. The role will entail:

• Processing supplier invoices and expenses
• Handle both AP and AR functions, including follow-up on outstanding invoices
• Bank Reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, entering data into SAP software.
• Assisting with month-end reports
• Provide support and documentation for audits
• Handle various administrative and ad hoc tasks

Previous experience as a Finance Assistant with knowledge of accounts payables is essential with a desire to develop towards more general accounting duties. However, you will alos have a team mentality of being willing to get involved in a small amount of non-accounting administrative tasks. Familiarity with a CRM systems and Excel is essential. AAT study support is optional. You should be very well organised, with a strong attention to detail and be able to multitask.
