A bit about the roleWorking in a team with Ian Gray, our Head - Finance Business Partnering (Corporate Services), the Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in providing finance support, advice, challenge and information to budget holders. You will be joining our small but highly skilled team, who are committed to ensuring Finance is at the heart of decision making.
This is a rare chance to shape the future of the Finance Business Partnering offer in a fast-growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional FBP team you will support a wide range of budget holders to manage their budgets while meeting their delivery objectives and ensuring value for money.
With current annual spend of c£4bn, an ambitious, recently launched multi-year Strategic Plan and Spending Review on the horizon, there couldn't be a better time to join the Homes England Strategic Finance and Business Partnering Team.
A bit about youAs an experienced finance professional, you will be well-versed in the complexities of UK Government finance and be able to operate as an effective translator between the business and Finance with a foot in both camps. You will be comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Agency and Finance's role in supporting delivery.
