Job Description

Location: Greek Street, Leeds/ Pennine 5, Sheffield

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

This is a maternity cover for 6-12 months.

Overview

A hands-on individual to manage the finance function in a rapidly growing dynamic young organisation.

You will be organised, have an analytical mindset, and be highly motivated to drive process improvements.

Detail

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of annual budget and quarterly profit and cash flow forecast
  • Monthly board pack
  • Process improvements to optimise efficiencies
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the Board of Directors
  • Credit Control
  • VAT returns
  • Annual accounts

Other requirements:

  • Must be fully qualified ICAEW / CIMA / ACCA / ICAS
  • An excellent communicator
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organised with excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of Xero an advantage but not essential
