Job Description

Our international gaming client looks for a Finance Director to join their business with a particular focus on automation and connect systems globally to make for a more efficient timely process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly reporting to directors;
  • Month end and year end process (financial statements, reconciliations);
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
  • Oversee the posting of and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable;
  • Verify commissions payable to service providers;
  • Manage client accounts payables and receivables;
  • Tax reporting;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Using financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios;
  • Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health;
  • Monitoring spending and creating budgets;
  • Preparing company reports for investors;
  • Finding ways to reduce costs and increase profits;
  • Collaborating with management to create funding strategies;
  • Overseeing a company's payroll and bookkeeping system.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience supervising, mentoring and coaching junior team members;
  • Experience with tax compliance and substance requirements;
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred;
  • Casino and/or Sportsbook operator experience helpful;
  • Proven experience of automation and connecting systems to improve efficiencies;
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS;
  • Experience in managing year-end audit processes;
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements;
  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken;

The role would initially be remote (working from home in the IOM) but the client is considering securing office space.
