Job Description
Our international gaming client looks for a Finance Director to join their business with a particular focus on automation and connect systems globally to make for a more efficient timely process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly reporting to directors;
- Month end and year end process (financial statements, reconciliations);
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
- Oversee the posting of and monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable;
- Verify commissions payable to service providers;
- Manage client accounts payables and receivables;
- Tax reporting;
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Using financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios;
- Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health;
- Monitoring spending and creating budgets;
- Preparing company reports for investors;
- Finding ways to reduce costs and increase profits;
- Collaborating with management to create funding strategies;
- Overseeing a company's payroll and bookkeeping system.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience supervising, mentoring and coaching junior team members;
- Experience with tax compliance and substance requirements;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred;
- Casino and/or Sportsbook operator experience helpful;
- Proven experience of automation and connecting systems to improve efficiencies;
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS;
- Experience in managing year-end audit processes;
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements;
- Fluency in English - both written and spoken;
The role would initially be remote (working from home in the IOM) but the client is considering securing office space.
