This is a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months to support the team during the implementation of a new ERP system.

Key responsibilities:

• Month end accruals, prepayment and fixed asset journal entries
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Weekly payments through various banking and financial platforms
• Stepping in to assist with invoices and expense claim processing when needed (this is more likely closer to month end)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required

In order to set you up for success as a Financial Accountant at Wayve, we're looking for the following skills and experience.

Essential

• 5+ years of financial accounting experience
• Attention to detail
• Passion for processes and controls
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changeable environment

Desirable

• Experience with Xero and Spendesk platforms
• ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
