Financial Business Partner

CMA Recruitment Group are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join an international manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire. This role will support a key area of the business which has recently seen an increase in activity. As such this position is ideally suited to a high calibre candidate looking to further progress their career.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

1. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the main responsibilities of the position will include.
2. Working with non-finance managers to produce annual budgets.
3. Providing financial analysis on annual costs including variance analysis and monthly reforecasting.
4. Providing full cycle project accounting support for new initiatives from proposed development through to implementation and final sign off.
5. Assisting with the ongoing development of the strategic plan and providing financial support for business case proposals.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner position:

1. Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and a proven track record of working successfully within either a Financial Analyst, Project Accountant or Finance Business Partner role.
2. Exposure to working with Government contracts and in particular the MOD would be highly beneficial.
3. Exceptional communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively challenge and develop existing processes.
