Our clients are a leading telco business with a worldwide presence and part of a consortium of businesses wholly owned and listed on NASDAQ.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for:- Supervise and coordinate all accounting operations to ensure a smooth and efficient month-end close process including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, including the timely approval of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsibility & management of overall GL - ensure accuracy and align to group accounting policies and local statutory standards.
- Financial audits, banking, tax, VAT, ISO internal audit, and process documentation.
- Cashflow (including transfer to Lumine), Payroll, Month End Accounts & group reporting.
- Requirements / analysis.
- Financial Ratios - Working Capital Ratio, Opex Analytics, EBITA Review.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations / requirements - statutory accounts, VAT, Tax, legal. If gaps are identified, putting a remediation plan into place.
- Revenue recognition and working capital assessments, alignment to business strategy, general input as required.
- IFRS15 expertise to ensure revenue recognized in line with accounting standards (including validation of inputs i.e., ps hrs).
- Financial audit responsibility for revenue including SSP studies, $2M checklist submissions including process docs.
- Perform forecasting updates and resulting variance analysis.
- Assisting finance manager in reporting of monthly and quarterly financials to Group (including specific analytics), involvement in QSR and QBR.
- Pipeline reporting.
You don't need management experience, although it will help to oversee and review the work of 2 bookkeepers.
