Financial Controller

Nexeo Belgium is currently looking for a Financial Controller to support a leading bank in Belgium.

Nexeo is a consultancy company that supports its clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors in all phases of their transformation projects: from business consulting to the implementation of IT solutions.

Your responsibilities as Financial Controller:

• Check, approve, and book invoices in internal tools.
• Analyse and validate financial data while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform various financial reports and reconciliations.
• Propose process improvements and simplifications.
• Monitor and follow up on internal accounting processes, including suspense accounts.
• Ensure correct management of accounts and consistency between different reporting systems.
• Participate in the modification of procedures and systems.

What are we expecting?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial control or accounting.
• Experience in bank accounting.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Fluent in English, French is a plus.
• Accuracy, analytical skills, team spirit, and autonomy.
