Financial Officer Expert

Nexeo is currently looking for a Financial Reporting Officer for a leading financial institution in Brussels.

Financial Reporting Officer - Main responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret key financial performance (profitability, solvency, liquidity)
• Prepare quarterly analytical reports with year-on-year and budget comparisons
• Stay updated with IFRS and Belgian GAAP standards
• Provide advice on accounting for new products and transactions
• Inform the finance team about accounting changes (newsletters, presentations)
• Represent the company in external accounting and prudential committees

Profile:

• Master's in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in IFRS and prudential reporting
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (CRD, CRR, BRRD)
