The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced FP&A professional to support Glanbia Performance Nutrition's International FP&A team. The role will work closely with finance teams across GPN's international markets to understand and explain business performance. Additionally, the role will collaborate with the International accounting team during month-end close to ensure complete and accurate reporting. The role will also support ongoing finance transformation initiatives within GPN. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract opportunity.
- Own and support the financial planning processes throughout the year (strategy, budgets, forecasts) by working with international markets to consolidate financial plans and explain overall financial performance.
- Support the month-end close process by reviewing the P&L, working closely with the accounting team to ensure reported results are complete and accurate, and explaining variances to the latest plan.
- Assist in storytelling of the international business by preparing clear, insightful reports and presentations comparing actual results versus plan and prior year.
- Drive improvements across the finance function, including developing and enhancing systems and processes related to financial planning, month-end reporting, and commercial finance analytics.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations as requested by the business and key stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Experience leading financial planning cycles, such as annual budgets and reforecasts.
- Experience preparing monthly financial presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights and craft storylines from financial data.
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience working in environments with rapidly changing workloads, tight deadlines, and high client expectations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with SAP and Business Objects is advantageous.
- CPG experience is preferred.
The position is based at our offices in Vauxhall, London.
