Financial Promotions Approval Consultant- FTC until 31/12/25

This role provides important additional resource within the Conduct Risk function to ensure that the Society is adequately supported with delivering its trading and propositions via the approval, oversight and training of financial promotions.

About the role

You will be making sure that YBS's financial promotions are clear, fair, and not misleading to our customers. You need to know the regulatory requirements that need to be met and that the benefits have been weighed up against the risks.

• Reviewing the Society's communications
• Monitoring and assessing regulatory and industry changes
• Designing and delivering training to colleagues across the Society who are responsible for the creation of financial promotions
• Building and maintaining relationships across the business

About you

It is important that you have working knowledge of financial promotions approvals and you are aware of the regulatory risks that go along with them. You will be working closely with stakeholders across the business, so strong relationship building experience is essential. Alongside this you will have:

• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and principles
• Experience of financial promotions approvals
• Understanding of UK regulatory framework and principles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
