What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
- Conducting detailed variance analysis and providing insights into financial performance.
- Collaborating with business partners to create and maintain budgets and financial models.
- Supporting financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Driving improvements in financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.
- Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis for senior leadership, supporting decision-making.
- Contributing to strategic planning and forecasting activities for various business units.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial governance standards.
- Supporting and leading on ad hoc projects in collaboration with colleagues in finance and other business areas.
About You
- Qualified accountant or finance professional (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or equivalent.
- Strong experience in financial planning & analysis, with a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Outstanding Excel skills and ability to analyse complex financial data.
- Experience of financial modelling using Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to contextualise financial data well.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
- Previous exposure to a fast-paced or regulated environment is a plus.
