Freelance Azure and DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Azure, DevOps, and Terraform Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure using Terraform and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, provisioning cloud resources as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and optimizing cloud services for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud environments (virtual machines, storage, networking, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, etc.).
• Deploy and maintain scalable and reliable cloud solutions using Azure native services and resources, optimizing for performance and cost.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, identity management (e.g., Azure AD), and access control in Azure environments.
• Ensure Azure environments are well-monitored, maintained, and optimized using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other tools to streamline deployment and infrastructure management.
• Integrate application code with automated build, test, and release pipelines to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
• Implement automated testing, version control, and artifact management within the CI/CD process.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of pipelines for continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Write, test, and maintain Terraform scripts for automating the provisioning of Azure resources.
• Use Terraform modules to ensure code reusability and efficiency when managing infrastructure components.
• Ensure Terraform code is well-documented, version-controlled, and maintained according to best practices.
• Automate the deployment of both production and non-production environments using Terraform.
• Manage state files and versioning in Terraform to ensure consistency across environments.
