Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team, bringing expertise in designing and implementing visually engaging and highly functional web content via Amplience (Dynamic Content/Content Hub) and Qubit. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with Amplience is required.
This role will work closely with designers and content teams to bring designs to life and deliver a seamless user experience. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing A/B tests in Qubit, as well as overseeing Google Tag Manager (GTM) configurations to ensure high-quality analytics tracking and performance insights.
The Responsibilities:- UI Development: Translate designs, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into high-quality Amplience content (via Amplience Dynamic Content and Content Hub).
- Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards for usability.
- Optimize front-end code for maximum performance ensuring fast load times and efficient interactions.
- Collaborate with design and delivery teams to understand business requirements so that implementation aligns with design intent and brand guidelines.
- Proactively suggest UX improvements based on best practices.
- Implement and manage A/B and multivariate tests using Qubit.
- Develop and maintain tracking, tags, and data layers within Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (Handlebars.js/ React.js / Next.js / Vue.js, or similar).
- Experience working with Amplience CMS (or similar headless CMS platforms).
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools like Qubit, Optimizely, or Google Optimize.
- Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), including setting up tags, triggers, and variables.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience integrating front-end components with APIs and third-party services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
