Functional Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, designing functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system implementation.

Your role

• Analyse business requirements to develop functional specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system design options
• Develop and maintain documentation for functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and gather feedback
• Provide guidance and support to business units during system implementation and training
• Work with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure that systems meet functional requirements
• Develop and maintain test scripts to validate system functionality
• Monitor system performance and provide feedback on system effectiveness
• Develop and maintain documentation for business processes and system configurations

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Proficiency with UML, user stories and technical writing
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories
• Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management
• Good knowledge of Confluence and Jira
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is a plus
