Job Description

Job Title: Future Propositions Consultant
Salary: c£55,000 dependent on Experience
Location: Home Worker
Contract: Permanent (Full Time and Part Time Opportunities available)

Ageas Insurance have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and curious candidate to join our Distribution team. The Future Propositions Consultant supports Ageas in the delivery of future looking initiatives that exceed customer expectations and help to shape the future of our propositions in market.

The Future Propositions Consultant will focus on both our direct to consumer and broker & partnerships distribution channels (including B2B2C/Affinity distribution) and will work on a range of exciting initiatives that bring together the best of our strategic and customer ambitions. The successful candidate will be working with the Propositions & Analytics lead to deliver fantastic outcomes for Ageas' customers across a range of personal line products and markets.

The role will span across many stages of proposition development, being responsible for horizon scanning, market/competitor insight, into ideation and innovation of new propositions, through to the build and development of them into market.

Key Skills, Competencies and Experience Required:

  1. A natural curiosity and a desire to challenge the status quo
  2. Excellent project management and organisation skills
  3. Demonstrable experience in successful stakeholder management and collaboration
  4. An ability to gain and maintain buy-in for key initiatives with a range of senior stakeholders
  5. A good commercial understanding and can articulate benefits of an initiative across various proof points (price, service, product, etc )
  6. A flexible, pragmatic and enthusiastic approach
  7. A good understanding of the UK General Insurance market, with Personal Lines being an advantage

Experience Required:
  1. Excellent written & verbal communication aptitude, together with questioning skills
  2. Proven ability of controlling and leading complex deliveries
  3. Strong negotiating, influencing and collaboration skills
  4. Building business cases and gaining buy-in for initiatives through oral and written presentations
  5. Innovation/ideation experience - taking customer need into tangible solutions
