We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Gas Combustion Engineer (non-domestic).

With a company van at your disposal, you'll need a full UK Driving License to navigate between sites efficiently. This role is on-site based.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.
We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to the day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.
Gas Combustion Engineers play an important part in a secure environment. You will be part of a team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical services.
You will be responsible for:
- Routine and non-routine maintenance.
- Fault finding and identification of life-expired equipment. Work with a variety of plant equipment such as gas appliances, gas boilers, heating plant, pumps, and ventilation. Minor plumbing work will be required.
- Check, repair, and mend faults and life-expired equipment.
- Inspections and risk assessment.
- Minimise wastage and continually improve processes.
- Ensure statutory works are carried out to time and that work is compliant.
- This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.
- Occasionally you may be requested to undertake work outside of your role, by your line manager.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Full driving license.
- Proven experience carrying out service and breakdown on industrial/commercial boilers and appliances and should hold strong technical knowledge with fault finding and diagnostic ability.
- Plumbing experience will be advantageous.
