About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead and manage a prestigious venue in Fulham. The role involves overseeing the bar, restaurant, and a separate events space, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and service standards in a high-end, exclusive environment.
As General Manager, your primary focus will be on creating an outstanding guest experience through great food, great service, and a team of highly motivated people.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to consistently drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operations of the bar, restaurant, and events space to ensure the highest standards of food, service, and guest experience.
- Oversee all aspects of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events, ensuring smooth service during peak periods.
- Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure client expectations are exceeded.
- Focus on delivering great food, great service, and great people, ensuring a high standard of hospitality at all times.
- Manage and motivate your team, ensuring they are trained and equipped to deliver the best service possible.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, inventory, and supplier management.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness throughout the venue.
- Control operating costs and manage the budget for both the restaurant and events space.
- Work with senior management to create and implement strategies that drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
About You: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, particularly in managing high-end food and beverage operations. You should be a dynamic and approachable leader, able to inspire and support your team while maintaining operational excellence. You will have a keen eye for detail and be financially astute, with a focus on delivering a premium guest experience.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior hospitality role, preferably in a high-end restaurant, bar, or events environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent knowledge of managing food and beverage operations and delivering top-quality service.
- Experience managing events, from small gatherings to large-scale functions.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
