General Manager Buckinghamshire

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 plus performance related bonus

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations of the garden centre including the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  2. Lead, motivate, and support a team of dedicated staff.
  3. Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring every visitor has a positive experience.
  4. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  5. Plan and execute promotional events and activities to attract and retain customers.
  6. Ensure the garden centre is well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing.
  7. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the owners.
  8. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  1. Proven experience in a similar role within a garden centre or retail management.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  5. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  6. Commercial awareness.
  7. Alternate weekend work is a requirement, along with flexibility for events.
