Job Description - Global Mobility Advisor (15754)

Description

Reporting to the Senior Global Mobility (GM) Manager, this role will oversee day to day operations of the Global Mobility programme. You will be the primary contact for the business, engineers and third party compliance providers ensuring all compliance activities are completed on time and regular updates are shared with the Senior GM Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  1. First point of contact for all sponsorship, assignment, relocation and right to work queries.
  2. Coordinate with service providers to initiate cases and ensure timely service delivery according to SLAs.
  3. Prepare cost projections and assignment/relocation letters as required.
  4. Ensure our vendor management system and internal records are up to date in real time.
  5. Monitor our email and ticketing system and triage incoming queries.
  6. Build strong relationships with the employees you're supporting.
  7. Manage the annual Liaison Engineer programme across 8 countries.
  8. Oversee our remote working policy, Work Away, to investigate any breaches and respond to new expressions of interest.
  9. Respond to any service escalations and liaise with the relevant third party provider to rectify these as quickly as possible.
  10. Check that GM policies and processes are followed in a consistent and compliant manner, with active management of exceptions.
  11. Ensure all services are billed in a timely manner and in line with budget.
  12. Update process docs for any changes and offer process improvements when you can see better ways of doing things.
  13. You'll also get the chance to help out with ad-hoc projects such as operational efficiency, policy review and technology enhancements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  1. BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  2. At least 2+ years of Global Mobility work experience.
  3. Proven organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  4. Adaptable and flexible - able to adjust quickly according to changing demands and priorities.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player mindset.
  6. Pro-active and someone who enjoys working independently.
  7. Good understanding of tax, social security, and immigration considerations for cross border moves.
  8. Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint would be an asset.
  9. Fluent written and verbal English.

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
