GoldenSource Engineer vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Lead efforts to ensure business-critical Static and Reference Data applications exceed service expectations
- Analyse and design business processes around the GoldenSource reference and market data product
- Drive the enhancement of business applications and processes.
- Support regular upgrades and maintenance of applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and support test plans for business applications.
- Foster effective communication across the Data Integration team, business areas, and supporting functions
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years' experience supporting business applications in a banking environment
- At least 2 years' experience customizing GoldenSource applications (or similar static and reference data management solutions) which should include Programming and Scripting skills experience needed (Java, SQL, Powershell, Python)
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Oracle
- Hands-on experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment
- Solid understanding of financial instruments and data management
- Language skills: English
