A quick look at the role
This is an exciting opportunity for graduates to join our large and expanding finance team. This is a three-year programme that includes a number of rotations within our Collections division where you will gain insights into the inner workings of the business with roles covering FP&A, Commercial Finance and Operations, and Business Partnering. This will help you to build your network within the business while enhancing both your general accounting knowledge and your understanding of the business more broadly. Whilst on the graduate program, you will have the opportunity to attend quarterly professional workshops, operational site visits, and receive study support towards an accountancy qualification.
Your core responsibilities
- Day-to-day support to the other members of the Finance team
- Support Finance Business Partners and non-finance personnel, providing financial data to assist in commercial decision-making
- Assist with the accounting and reporting requirements of the existing team
- Assist with the preparation and analytical review of key KPIs and performance information at a channel level within the I&C business
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to ensure adherence to Group policy
- Exposure to contract pricing and job costing analysis, providing support for tenders and customer contract renewals
- Ensure financial controls, processes, and disciplines are adhered to
- Maintain other key data as required
- Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and reforecasting.
Our essential requirements
- Recent graduate with a 2.1 or higher
- Three A to C grades at A-Level
- Confident with all Microsoft Applications including advanced Excel
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
