Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Group Treasury Manager to join our team at Oxford Instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing our company's treasury operations, including cash management, risk management, and financial reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead cash flow forecasting and monitoring for the Group
  2. Develop and implement risk management strategies
  3. Prepare and analyse treasury-related financial reports
  4. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  5. Evaluate investment opportunities and funding needs
  6. Manage and develop the Treasury Analyst
Education/Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  2. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AmCT)
Professional Skills/Abilities:
  1. Proven experience in treasury management, cash management, and risk management
  2. Strong understanding of financial instruments and markets
  3. Proficiency in financial software and systems
Personal Qualities:
  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment

This role is a hybrid role with the main location being Tubney Woods, Abingdon. We work from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and finish at 1:00 pm on Fridays, allowing you to start your weekend early.
