Job overviewWe are seeking a Band 6 Gynaecology Clinical Educator to join our Gynaecology Nursing Team at St Marys Managed Clinical Service, working across our ORC, Wythenshawe, North Manchester and Withington sites. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to deliver high quality, evidence-based education to all members of the Gynaecology team.
This exciting role in the Gynaecology Quality, Education & Workforce team will focus on educating staff at all levels, encouraging them to learn, develop and grow to their fullest potential in line with current national standards. You will ensure staff are supported to develop their core competencies to undertake their role proficiently and work in conjunction with the senior nursing team, medical team, clinical education team and peers from other areas.
Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will work to ensure our established workforce are kept up to date with their training requirements and that new starters to the department are guided appropriately through the induction/initial integration process within the team. The successful candidate will also use their knowledge and skills of Gynaecology to ensure current staff are up to date with new policies and guidance, working alongside those staff who need to develop their skills, ensuring all staff are competent to work and care for our patients.

Person specification- 2 years Gynaecology experience essential
