Freelance Hardware Engineer - Antwerp

Our client is specialised in infrastructure solutions and is looking for a Hardware Engineer to work on the automation of bridges, locks and tunnels. Do you have a passion for electricity and automation? Then you're in the right place!

Job description:

• You take the lead in producing construction files based on customer requirements and our hardware typicals.
• You work together with fellow engineers to achieve project objectives.
• You draw up technical concepts for a construction file for our sign construction.
• You ensure correct testing of produced boards in our workshop.
• You approve and test the complete installation on site (IO tests, functional tests).
• You supervise test procedures and documentation.

Who are you?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of study (industrial engineering, electromechanics, automation, construction, etc.) or you have relevant work experience.
• You have knowledge of Eplan and CAD.
• You have a passion for electricity, with an interest in mechanics and hydraulics.
• You are flexible in terms of working hours and location.
• You have a driving license B.
• You speak fluent Dutch, English is a bonus.
• You are eligible to work as a contractor in Belgium.
