Job Description

Head of Management Reporting and Analysis (Fixed Term Contract - 12-Month Contract (with potential for a permanent role))

Location: Head Office - Woodford Green

Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

Direct Reports: Finance Business Partners, Payroll Team

What You Will Do:
  1. Leadership & Development: Inspire and mentor a talented team of Finance Business Partners and Payroll professionals, fostering an environment that encourages growth, collaboration, and exceptional performance.
  2. Financial Insights & Analysis: Compile and deliver comprehensive management reports that provide valuable insights into our financial health, identifying key performance drivers and presenting actionable recommendations.
  3. Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Take charge of the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes to align financial strategies with operational goals.
  4. Business Partnering: Build strong relationships across the organization to provide financial guidance that supports informed decision-making.
  5. Payroll Management: Oversee a compliant and precise payroll operation, ensuring efficiency and alignment with internal policies and legal requirements.
  6. Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance systems and processes that drive excellence in financial reporting and payroll management.
Who You Are:
  1. Qualified Expert: A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA) with experience in financial reporting and payroll management, particularly within the charity or social care sectors.
  2. Strong Communicator: Exceptional communication skills to present complex financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
  3. Financial Modeling Expert: Strong expertise in developing financial models for tendering and contract pricing.
  4. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and financial systems integration.
