We're thrilled to offer an experienced professional the chance to join our Asset Management and Remarketing team within LBG's Transport division. This market leading division is instrumental in aiding customers and drivers as they shift towards more sustainable driving options, playing a pivotal role in advancing the transition to Net Zero by facilitating the financing of electric vehicles for both consumers and business clients.
The Asset Management and Remarketing team is responsible for the manufacturer relationships that support our customers, used leasing, and optimising asset value on vehicles returning from customers.
You'll have the unique opportunity to create and implement the strategy to fully integrate our vehicle asset management capabilities, from purchase through multiple customer contracts and ultimately final disposal at the optimum point.
This capability is a critical success factor as the UK transitions to electric vehicles and as such is highly visible up to the most senior levels in the group.
To excel in this role, you should ideally have extensive knowledge of the motor industry and vehicle finance/leasing. A proven track record in remarketing, supplier management, product development and contract management is preferred. Key AccountabilitiesCreate, define and implement the full end-to-end vehicle asset management strategy including managing key OEM and other 3rd party supplier relationships and working closely with our residual value team to ensure circularity of our whole RV & asset management ecosystem
Manage the vehicle remarketing function, including negotiations with suppliers to ensure we get optimum terms across LBG and achieve finance targets
Manage a range of suppliers for Procurement, Service, and Remarketing to ensure contractual obligations are achieved.
Grow the used leasing proposition to ensure business targets are achieved.
Directly responsible for the management of the returning vehicle portfolio to maximize profitability and ensure timely disposal (or alternative route)
Responsible for the management of suppliers to ensure they are meeting agreed key performance indicators. This includes purchases, service, logistics, storage, refurbishment, and general customer service.
Manage a portfolio of key suppliers via a team of Account Managers to ensure the delivery of a quality service.
Scale the used leasing proposition by scaling the broker and corporate channels and introducing other D2C options.
Responsible for the regular, accurate, timely analysis and reporting on all aspects of the remarketing department.
Present key themes to senior stakeholders from a wide range of sources and identify possible impacts on the business.
Implement business plans to achieve results and act at pace.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of colleagues with high levels of engagement, retention, and talent development through a strong people plan.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, influence with impact, and use your judgment to drive appropriate actions.
