Exciting Leadership Opportunity in Governance

Are you passionate about excellence in governance and making a real impact in education? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead governance and corporate support across the Learning Community Trust, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Multi-Academy Trust.

As the Trust's governance professional, you will be at the heart of decision-making, providing expert advice and support to trustees, senior leaders, and local governors. You'll drive best practices, ensure compliance and accountability, and foster a culture of professionalism, excellence, and continuous improvement in governance.

This role offers the unique opportunity to build strong, influential relationships across the Trust - working closely with the Chair of Trustees, CEO, COO, wider leadership, and governance teams - to ensure the highest standards of governance.

You will also oversee and manage the service level agreement with outsourced clerking services, ensuring quality and compliance at every level.

If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for governance and education, and you're ready to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.

The Learning Community Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All post holders are subject to an enhanced DBS check (including a check on the children's barred list) and an online search for the successful applicant. References will be checked following the Learning Community Trust recruitment and selection process.

In line with the Statutory Guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education, an online check will be undertaken for all shortlisted candidates prior to the interview.

We are committed to equality and diversity and follow the Safer Recruitment practices as set out in the Statutory Guidance - Keeping Children Safe in Education.
