Job Description

  • Lead and develop a team of seven accountants, managing workload, performance, and career growth.
  • Own the external financial reporting process, including interim and full-year reports.
  • Prepare and present reports to the Audit Committee.
  • Manage the relationship with external auditors and oversee the statutory accounts process.
  • Act as a centre of excellence for technical accounting matters, including IFRS 16 and fixed asset reporting.
  • Drive process and control improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
  • Support investor relations and capital markets activities.
  • Develop and maintain group accounting policies.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA-qualified, ideally with Big 4 experience.
  • Proven track record in a PLC financial reporting environment.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise with hands-on experience in consolidation tools.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive continuous improvement.
