Job Description

- Work closely with the Group CFO and executive team, influencing strategy.

Job Description
- Lead and develop a team of seven accountants, managing workload, performance, and career growth.
- Own the external financial reporting process, including interim and full-year reports.
- Prepare and present reports to the Audit Committee.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors and oversee the statutory accounts process.
- Act as a centre of excellence for technical accounting matters, including IFRS 16 and fixed asset reporting.
- Drive process and control improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
- Support investor relations and capital markets activities.
- Develop and maintain group accounting policies.
The Successful Applicant
- ACA-qualified, ideally with Big 4 experience.
- Proven track record in a PLC financial reporting environment.
- Strong technical accounting expertise with hands-on experience in consolidation tools.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development.
- Ability to communicate complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to drive continuous improvement.
