Reporting into the Director of Neighbourhoods, you will be responsible for leading the Housing Service Centre for a Local Authority.

About the Head of Housing role:

1. Line management responsibility of 6 Managers
2. Take the lead in providing a primary point of contact for customer interactions within the Council's Housing Management division, ensuring an enhanced customer experience.
3. Support the integration of the Council's operating model and advance the Customer Access Strategy, facilitating channel shifts to help the organisation achieve its key priorities.
4. Leverage customer insights and root cause analysis to identify enhancements that reduce repeat contacts and improve first-time resolution.

Your previous experience as Head of Housing:

1. Worked as Head of Housing within a Local Authority
2. Proven ability to lead teams in achieving high-performance goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
3. Significant experience within a Local Authority
4. Excellent communication skills and able to manage both up and down.
