Head of ICT - Team of 5 (German Speaking)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Head of ICT - Team of 5 (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based Bern Canton with one day per week home office.

Your Role:

• Actively shape the ICT Strategy of a Global Company.
• Hold responsibility for ensuring & operating the Group ICT.
• Ensure ICT Security through adequate & continuous further development of security measures.
• Monitoring ICT Operations & regularly reporting to management.
• Ensure a group-wide ICT service desk & first-class support.
• Procure & implement necessary infrastructure & software solutions.
• Lead, motivate & coordinate an international ICT team consisting of 5 employees & a trainee.
• Provide hands-on support in operations.
• Further develop & implement ICT strategy in close coordination with management.
• Hold responsibility for ICT financial planning & budget control.
• Coordinate suppliers & service providers.

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of professional relevant experience in IT (for example in IT System Engineering/Administration).
• A strong knowledge of the M365 environment (including Intune & Azure).
• Ideally experienced in ICT Security.
• Any Experience in Leading Teams & Training Apprentices is advantageous (however these are not a mandatory requirements & candidates who do have this experience but do bring the right personality & motivations are still encouraged to apply).

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Similar.
• Ideally Certified in Training Apprentices.
• A high sense of responsibility, resilience & willingness to make decisions.
• Strong communication skills & enthusiastic to lead & motivate an international team.
• Fluent English & strong German language skills (to at least C1 level) are mandatory requirements.
