Head of Major Works Ref

Working for local authority and managing the delivery of capital projects within bounds of HRA is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Experience of managing large teams (30 staff).
2. Excellent, hands-on leadership skills.
3. Experience of developing/shaping new, complex capital programmes of major works.
4. Managing large contracts, preferably with Term Partnering Contract experience.
5. Outstanding ability to understand resident needs and deliver services accordingly.
6. Strong presentation and communication skills, confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels and presenting to elected officials.
7. Extensive experience managing multiple project managers.
