Overview

We are looking for a Head of Managed Services to be based out of our Birmingham or Manchester offices.

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

Responsibilities

In order to maintain and grow our Managed Service business in the UK, PM Group is seeking to recruit an ambitious, high performing candidate for the above role. The primary focus of this role will be to manage the current portfolio of Managed Service clients, driving Group standardisation and technical improvements. The role will also include the requirement to support growth by identifying and securing new clients and Managed Service portfolios.

In this role you will act as sponsor and the primary point of escalation for current Managed Service clients as well as developing new Managed Services business opportunities with existing and potential clients.

You will work closely with Senior Leadership in the Projects, Engineering and Support Services to ensure resource requirements are communicated in advance and are being met while also regularly liaising with Managed Service Site Leads regarding portfolio delivery, including site visits.

Finally, you will champion health and safety, quality and continuous improvement, supporting initiatives and driving standardisation.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record ideally within a Senior/Principal Project Management, Commercial or Engineering related field
  • Previous experience of managing client profit and loss account budgets
  • Contractual and commercial expertise in an EPCM environment
  • Understanding of legal contract clause application/administration
  • Clear understanding of the various design disciplines required for project delivery in the Pharma, Advanced Manufacturing, Data Centre and other related sectors
  • Commercially astute and results driven, with skills in managing delivery and bringing a creative and innovative approach
  • Experience of successfully executing a project life cycle
  • Excellent and proven interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Able to create strong and in-depth relationships with clients and identify commercial opportunities
