Head of Project Management, EMEA

Location: Central London

Salary: £150,000 plus bonus & benefits

Reports to: Global Head of Construction

About the Role:

Are you a seasoned Executive level Construction Project Manager with a passion for workplace transformation? A Global Leader in Marketing and Communications is seeking a dynamic Head of Project Management to oversee their EMEA operations. This pivotal role will be based in London, covering a diverse portfolio across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of complex construction projects across EMEA, including a significant transformation of the London HQ.
  • Strategic Management: Collaborate closely with business leaders across a multi-network group, ensuring seamless project delivery in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Programme Management: Oversee a range of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while mentoring and guiding junior project leads.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for all EMEA construction projects, interacting regularly with senior leadership, including the Global Head of Real Estate and the Global Head of Construction.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the introduction of efficient processes in a dynamic environment, balancing the need for flexibility with the necessity for structure and rigor.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the project management office (PMO).
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate key project risks, ensuring robust construction logistics and legal compliance across all projects.

About You:

  • Qualifications: Accredited construction professional qualification is essential.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in large-scale construction project management, particularly within the workplace sector. Prior experience in a client-side role and with programme management advisory services is highly desirable.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams, both internal and external, with a strong ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at balancing big-picture thinking with meticulous execution.
  • You are a natural collaborator who enjoys working with and through others to get the job done. You're passionate about thinking differently and translating great concepts into reality.
