Job Description

Unitary is transforming operational work with AI agents. We've built a blended AI and human system that enables enterprise businesses to automate manual operations with zero engineering work, no process changes, and without compromising human accuracy.

We started in trust and safety, where we've gained significant traction, closing a £17M Series A funding round in 2024, backed by leading names in AI (Plural and Creandum).

Now, we're entering a pivotal stage of growth and expansion into new industries and markets. We're looking for a hands-on, ambitious Head of Sales who can drive revenue, close deals, and build the foundation for a scalable sales function.

Meet the team

Our sales team will be the driving force behind Unitary's expansion, securing high-value, consultative deals and opening new markets.

As Head of Sales, you'll take a hands-on leadership role - owning and closing deals while shaping the GTM strategy and laying the foundation to scale a team.

This is a great opportunity for a high-performing Senior BDM ready to step up or an ambitious sales leader eager to take full ownership and leave their mark.

This is a flexible position, offering the choice of remote work or onsite in London, with quarterly team offsites in London/Europe and regular conferences in the US.

What you'll do

  • Own and execute the sales function. You'll be in the trenches, hunting, selling, and closing high-value, multi-threaded deals while shaping the sales strategy.
  • Build and refine our sales playbook. Develop outreach strategies, messaging, sales processes, and GTM execution based on customer insight.
  • Establish and optimise pipeline generation. Identify and implement the best outbound and demand-gen strategies to drive consistent deal flow.
  • Based on your success, you'll recruit, coach, and develop SDRs and BDMs to support further expansion.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and leadership to refine our ICP, positioning, and sales execution.
  • You'll lead strategic partnerships. Developing long-term relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring we deliver sustained value beyond the initial sale.

About you

  • 5+ years of experience closing complex, multi-threaded, high-ACV deals. You thrive in a consultative, problem-solving sales environment.
  • Proven ability to sell operational process improvement solutions, AI-driven automation, or complex SaaS/BPO offerings.
  • Hands-on and ambitious. You love selling and want to step into a leadership role by proving your ability to drive revenue and scale.
  • Comfortable owning the full sales cycle. From prospecting to closing, you know how to engage multiple senior stakeholders across mid-to-large enterprises ( employees).
  • Strategic but execution-focused. You can balance high-level planning with rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.
  • Experience selling BPO, trust & safety, process automation, or workflow automation is a plus.
  • Experience selling into social media platforms, review platforms, insurance, or marketplace sectors is nice to have but not required.
  • Autonomous, entrepreneurial, and excited about owning the sales function in a high-growth startup.
