Team/Role Overview

The Head of UK ICAAP, Senior Vice President is a senior level position responsible for the generation, analysis and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

What you'll do

1. Lead the consolidation of the ICAAPs for our UK businesses.
2. Own the consolidation of the stress forecasts for capital adequacy, including partnership with the production team, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Risk, Senior management and the business.
3. Manage communications to the Board and senior management.
4. Manage, direct, train, mentor, and evaluate assigned staff.
5. Contribute to strategic planning within area of expertise and focus on day-to-day operational execution.
6. Lead key initiatives/projects and controls as well as maintain working knowledge of industry, regulatory, and accounting developments.
7. Utilise knowledge of finance/accounting concepts to ensure accurate Regulatory Reporting filings.
8. Drive re-engineering, process efficiencies, and continuous process improvement efforts to strengthen controls.
9. Lead regulatory exams, internal audits, and address external analyst questions.
10. Conduct research and analysis of regulatory reporting and other regulatory matters presenting results, as warranted.
11. Build and maintain effective and professional working relationships with internal and external auditors, regulators, and key contacts within multiple areas across Citi.
12. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need from you

1. Previous supervisory experience.
2. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
3. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
4. Ability to communicate with others across functions.
5. Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
