Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant Part Time
Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich
Salary: £9756.25 per annum
Hours: 17.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 09:00am
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a House Keeping Assistant to join our close-knit team at Acorn Park School located in Norwich.
Job Purpose
To provide the Home / Centre with a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the whole building
Key Task Areas and Responsibilities
To promote the good reputation of the Home / Centre by cleaning all areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
To ensure all equipment and chemicals are used and handled correctly at all times, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, COSHH regulations and health and Safety legislation. Use all supplies correctly and to minimising waste
To carry out all daily and weekly routines together with any special cleaning duties as directed and necessary
To support other members of the domestic team to look complete work that requires extra members of staff to complete the task
To assist in the operation of the laundry where necessary
To report all compliments, comments and complaints
To report any defects, damage, theft, breakages or hazards
To carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, Service Users and other persons on site

Acorn Park is a school for 98 pupils, who all have a primary diagnosis of Autism. We run two curriculum pathways - Formal and Semi-formal. Our Complex needs pupils are on the Semi-Formal Pathway which is highly personalised from their EHCP. We have a mixture of Day and Residential pupils as we have 8 co-located pupil's homes on our 30 Acre site in rural Norfolk. On site, we also have a large Forest School and Animal Care Farm along with play facilities, a sports hall and sensory rooms.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults.
