HR Director - InterContinental Riyadh

Bringing people together is what hospitality's all about. And we're looking for a HR Director who can promote a positive, inspiring and motivating culture at IHG, bringing the best out of every colleague so they're empowered to deliver truly exceptional guest experiences.

Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:

1. Building a positive work environment for all IHG colleagues throughout their career with us - from onboarding to training and promotions, through to exit.
2. Leading, educating and training the wider team and General Manager on people issues and HR disciplines to enhance performance.
3. Developing creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide our hotel guests with unique experiences.
4. Overseeing day-to-day HR management, reporting and filing, and identifying process areas for attention.
5. Identifying and analysing the local market to ensure our own offering remains competitive.
6. Enhancing our hotels' reputation in the local community and beyond, and promoting team member involvement in the local community.
7. Mitigating financial risks associated with employee relations issues.
8. Identifying and analysing local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness.
9. Ensuring hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed.
10. Creating programmes to foster a positive work environment for all employees. Supporting and administering an annual team member satisfaction survey.
11. Overseeing maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees.

What We Need from You:

1. Bachelor's degree, higher education qualification or equivalent.
2. Four years of related experience in HR - supervisory experience is also beneficial.
3. Ability to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible in all HR-related matters.
