Role Overview:
- Medior HR Consultant in Recruitment, who will primarily operate in East Flanders but should be open to supporting other Flemish regions as required. The consultant will play a key role in managing the entire recruitment process, from intake with the hiring manager to pre-screening candidates and final selection decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Conduct intake meetings with internal clients to understand hiring needs.
- Create recruiting vacancy texts and define appropriate internal & external hiring strategies.
- Perform pre-screening of candidates, analyzing resumes and providing qualitative recommendations to hiring managers.
- Competency-Based Selection & Interviewing
- Conduct competency-based selection interviews and make well-founded hiring decisions.
- Challenge hiring managers by offering diverse viewpoints in candidate selection.
- Manager Coaching & Process Optimization
- Coach managers on interview techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Provide insights into recruitment & selection to improve decision-making.
- Ensure strong administrative follow-up throughout the selection process.
- Talent Attraction & Offer Management
- Support bottleneck vacancies by identifying additional recruitment strategies.
- Participate actively in job fairs and recruitment events to attract top talent.
- Develop competitive salary proposals within company guidelines for white-collar workers and executives.
Technical & Functional Skills Required:
- Recruitment & Selection Experience: Minimum 3 years (medior level).
- Experience with clerical and executive profiles.
- Competency in writing selection reports.
- Language Requirement: Dutch at CEFR level C2 (native proficiency).
