We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Software developer/Engineer to join one of our clients in the energy sector. Our client is at the ForeFront of delivering fundamental analysis and economic research on energy markets to support trading and portfolio management.

At the intersection of quantitative analysis and data science, the team is composed of multidisciplinary experts with an in-depth understanding of energy markets and strong quantitative analysis skills. They provide key analyses and insights in a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment.

The team manages several applications, including

• A data management application for ingestion, Storage, supervision, and restitution of time series
• An application for sharing and visualizing market data and analysis reports
• An application for calculating price forecasts in the electricity market

As a Software Engineer, you will ensure the maintenance of the existing stack and design and implement new solutions. Your responsibilities will include

• Designing and implementing new data architectures/features
• Managing the development cycle, infrastructure, and production releases (DevOps)
• Providing technical and user support to analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders

Key skills required

• Python (OOP, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib): 6-9 years
• Software architecture and design: 6-9 years
• Cloud AWS/Azure: 6-9 years
• DevOps (GIT, Azure DevOps, Docker, K8s): 6-9 years
• PostgreSQL: 6-9 years
• Web Development (Dash, JavaScript): 6-9 years
• English advanced
