Context: As an HVAC Engineer, you will support investment projects (pharma and non-pharma, revamping and greenfield) by providing your expertise to propose solutions on all HVAC-related topics (clean rooms, isolators/RABS/laminar flow benches, H2O2 decontamination, cold rooms, BMS/PEMS).
Your Role:
In coordination with the design office and project management, ensure correct design, commissioning, and qualification in compliance with internal requirements and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with internal requirements and regulatory authorities regarding HVAC (networks, installation and equipment, UDF/LAF/cold rooms/incubators/etc., regulation).
- Act as the client representative for all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning-related activities and installations.
- Review design and technical documentation.
- Monitor construction and all testing activities relevant to the scope of the lot.
- Ensure the commissioning of systems and resolution of punch lists.
- Provide support to projects in terms of technical expertise, subcontractor management, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Facilitate the handover process to the end user.
- Review tender documents for the contractor selection process.
- Supervise work, conduct on-site inspections, and follow up on punch lists.
- Final handover of HVAC assemblies and systems.
Your Profile:
- Engineering degree (HVAC, Construction, Electromechanics, etc.).
- Expertise in HVAC systems in the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical industries.
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and expertise in the design and implementation of engineering projects.
- Key capabilities include:
- Definition of functional, technical, and quality requirements.
- Conducting process studies, AFD, P&ID, and diagrams.
- Reviewing tender documents and monitoring contractor performance.
- Integrating operability and occupational health and safety requirements at all design stages.
- Preparing testing, commissioning, and inspection requirements for the project.
- Assessing the legal compliance of systems.
- On-site verification of execution in accordance with best practices.
- Interface with existing or new utility infrastructures on-site, ensuring fluid connections.
