At MedGen, we are looking for highly experienced, supportive, and compassionate A&E Nurses with proven experience in an acute setting within the last 12 months, to work short-notice and temporary placements across England and Wales.

About the Role

MedGen is seeking experienced ICU Nurses to provide expert critical care to patients in intensive care settings. This role requires rapid decision-making, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding swiftly to any changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and ventilator support as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients' families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ICU protocols.

What our recruitment process involves:

To maintain our premium database our agency nurses, possess a minimum of one year's proven full-time experience relevant to the role in which we place them.

Our recruitment process involves the following steps:

• Initial screening review
• Reference checks based on individual experience.
• Digital face-to-face or recorded interview conducted or assessed by a registered nurse.
• Verification of identity documents, including proof of "Right to Work".
• Completion of a PVG Scheme membership or evidence of a certificate on the PVG Update Service.
• Occupational health assessment and proof of EPP and non-EPP immunisation.
• Up-to-date evidence of practical competency training for Basic Life Support and Manual Handling.
• Documentation of educational certificates for advanced and specialist roles.
