My client is one of the world's leading luxury travel companies with a reputation for selling amazing upmarket holidays around the world. They are currently looking for an experienced travel consultant that has extensive knowledge of the Indian Subcontinent.
In the role, we want you to tell holiday makers all about the diverse experiences in India, for example, the snow-capped Himalayas, the cities teeming with bazaars, and the enchanting landscape.
My client has over 30 years of experience in the travel industry and has tailored bespoke travel arrangements for over a million customers.
The destinations you need to have knowledge or past sales experience in are - India, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities
- Sell high-quality tailor-made itineraries for current and future clients. You are ultimately responsible for planning, selling, and implementing itineraries.
- Make the most of every single genuine sales enquiry received. You need to be able to differentiate between good and bad leads so that we maximize revenue and profit.
- Ensure the product sold to our clients and the supporting information is to the highest standard.
- Achieve levels of client service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business.
- Take appropriate opportunities to up-sell and switch-sell products.
- Interact with our clients mostly over the telephone, with some face-to-face clients.
- Keep in touch with product developments in your region, ensuring that you remain a true travel specialist with up-to-date commercial knowledge and understanding of hotels, flights, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrate a total commitment to customer service. It's your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip that exceeds their expectations.
