Information Governance Officer, £14.50-£15.60 per hour, immediate start, 3 months with possible extension

Hays are working with a Public Sector Organisation to recruit for an Information Governance Officer.
Your new role

Completion of the Recording of Processing Activities (RoPA)

Completion of the Info Asset Register

Assisting with developing a policy for labelling of emails to facilitate Records Management and Retention

Drafting a Subject Access Request policy in line with ICO guidance

Comprehensive Data Protection policy including guidance on data breaches and assistance with training

Data Protection Impact Assessment policy and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

A degree in a related specialist discipline or equivalent experience.

2 years' experience in an information governance role

Experience of complex data protection impact assessments.

Experience of supporting governance projects to improve records management activities.

Experience in managing GDPR, FOI, SAR and EIR requests within compliant timescales.
