Job Description

Infrastructure & Monitoring Lead- Freelance

For a telecoms customer, we are searching for an Infrastructure & Monitoring Lead to manage their infrastructure and application monitoring domain. This is a long-term freelance role focused on structuring Cisco UCS-X infrastructure and implementing Dynatrace for performance monitoring and KPI tracking.


The customer currently has no application monitoring in place and is looking for a specialist to design and implement a monitoring framework that enhances end-user satisfaction, performance insights, and proactive issue resolution.


This role will be creative, complicated and engaging, and the customer are looking for a long term, multiple year engagement.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement Dynatrace for application monitoring and performance tracking.
  • Assess and structure the Cisco UCS-X infrastructure for improved efficiency.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs related to application performance and end-user experience.
  • Identify relationships between KPIs and performance metrics, such as login times and system responsiveness.
  • Provide insights on performance degradation and define action plans to resolve issues proactively.
  • Lead steering and implementation projects, ensuring smooth adoption of monitoring tools and processes.


Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in Application Performance Management, KPI development, and performance analysis (ideally with Dynatrace).
  • Experience with Cisco infrastructure.
  • Ideally experience working in the PSAP domain.
  • Project management experience related to monitoring tool implementation.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of French or Dutch as a plus.

ONSITE POLICY: Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGUAGES: English (French/Dutch is a plus)
