Infrastructure Project Manager (ITIL, Agile) - Banking - Brussels

Daily rate: €600 - €750

Hybrid: 8 days per month on site in Brussels

My client is looking for a Freelance Project Manager who engages with stakeholders and orchestrates the end-to-end delivery of various initiatives in and outside our team. This role involves managing infrastructure initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination and successful project outcomes.

The successful candidate will coordinate and lead the projects in the team. Typically, the projects managed in our team cover modern technologies around operational resilience, incident management, and service redundancy for critical logs. Next to those, we also take care of various security, resiliency, or regulatory initiatives contributing to our corporate roadmap.

Responsibilities include:

• End-to-end coordination for the delivery on time, on budget, and on scope.

• Act as a single point of contact in and outside the division.

• Ensure that delivery is following the System Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC requirements/design/test/launch lifecycle) and is compliant with the associated IT controls.

• Define the Cost (assessing the uncertainty level and add a contingency effort, etc ) in the investment Request.

• Manage the budget and support the Business Owner on Benefits delivery.

• Assess and manage the risks associated with the delivery.

• Represent and report out on the throughout the entire lifecycle in steering committees. From ideation until closure.

• The position might require traveling.

The skills we are looking for:

• Project manager skills, ensuring an initiative is managed within the defined and agreed boundaries (Time, Scope, and budget).

• Experience in working in an Agile context, comfortable to apply Agile practice. Agile certification is a plus.

• Solid understanding of the IT systems technology stack (from hardware to offering cloud services) and experience in a complex multi-tenant technical environment.

• Knowledge of the specific tools is an asset: Azure DevOps Boards, ServiceNow (project, risk, resource management modules).

• Stakeholder management. Ability to build a strong stakeholder relationship considering they might be in various countries all over the world (remote management).

• Professional Project Manager certifications are an asset.

• Knowledge of ITIL is an asset.
