As a Project Manager, you will join our dynamic Change team within our award-winning Insurance business. This role is ideal for an experienced project manager who is self-starting, proactive, and people-oriented, looking for a new, challenging opportunity.
Following Saga's recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will oversee the successful development of pricing and fraud principles as we work towards optimizing pricing for our Home and Motor products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the business as we transition and move forward, ultimately allowing us to serve our customers the exceptional experiences they deserve.
We offer flexibility over where you work; you choose a place that you feel most comfortable and productive, either from home or in one of our hubs in London or Folkestone.
Role ResponsibilityAs a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects within the insurance business, ensuring delivery within agreed time, budget, and quality criteria. You'll manage projects from inception through to supporting benefit realization.
Other accountabilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining good working relationships with project sponsors and various business stakeholders.
- Communicating across all levels to enable clear understanding of the strategy behind project needs, design, and delivery approach.
- Preparation and presentation of supporting project documentation to senior management.
- Supporting a team of business professionals across a range of projects to achieve excellent standards of productivity and quality.
- Being an effective negotiator, balancing alternatives and seeking win-win solutions.
- Managing project team members and resources, including third parties and suppliers, ensuring project delivery to time, budget, and quality.
- Communicating project status and issues to business management, IT, and project teams.
- Project governance including creation and maintenance of the project plan, highlight & progress reporting, risk and issue management.
- Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Change Partner within reasonable boundaries of the job holder's capability.
- Working to a waterfall methodology but being open to new ideas and ways of working.
The successful Project Manager will have experience managing projects within Insurance Pricing. While personal lines experience is desirable, we are open to candidates from any industry.
Other required skills include:
- Experience with Radar.
- Exposure to various methodologies, specifically Waterfall but flexible to new ideas.
- Proven experience in managing cross-divisional stakeholders and change management.
- Resilient mindset with effective communication skills at all levels.
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to organization and delivery.
